Terms & Conditions Summary

SITE REQUIREMENTS/RESTRICTIONS:

1. Flat and level (end to end and side to side) surface for placement of the tent. Asphalt or concrete set ups will incur additional fees.
2. Access is granted to KJ Event Rentals LLC and its representatives and/or agents to enter my property to setup & remove the items at the beginning and end of the rental period.
3. Parking should be no more than 100’ of tent site. Any distance greater will incur additional fees.
4. Supplier will charge an additional $75 per hour for standby time.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY:

1. A customer representative must be at the site at the time of delivery.
2. Customer will be responsible for any and all damages the items incur once they have been set up and deemed operational.
3. Customer will be responsible for having a representative monitor the items during the event.

EQUIPMENT CARE:

1. Customer is responsible for keeping items clean.
2. Items must be free of food, coloring, paint and mud.
3. Chair and tables must be left in the same condition (clean and stacked) and place they were left at during delivery.
4. Do not use any equipment in a manner inconsistent with its primary use.
5. Do not move, remove, relocate tents, dance floors, or restroom trailers.
6. Do not allow the dance floor to get wet.
7. Do not place anything other than people on top of the dance floor.

RETAINER FEE:
Customer will make a non-refundable retainer fee (down payment) in the amount of 25% of the service contract to ensure the desired date is reserved. Supplier does not have the responsibility to save the date, and will fill the event date with another Customer, if the retainer fee is not made.

PAYMENT TERMS:
Balance Due prior to Delivery.

WEATHER
Once equipment has been setup at location, the rental has started and cannot be cancelled. We do not offer refunds for any reason including weather.

LIABILITY AND INJURY:

Customer expressly agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Supplier from any and all damage to property or injury to person suffered in or with respect to the Unit(s) during or by virtue of Customer’s use, possession, or operation of the Unit(s), whether resulting from negligence, lack of care, abuse or ordinary use.

NON-PAYMENT:

Should Customer breach this Agreement, Supplier may pursue all remedies available at law or in equity, including termination of this Agreement without notice, repossession of the equipment without legal process, and recovery of all monies owed. Customer will be responsible for all cost to recover the payment including attorney fees and expenses, time involved for Supplier, and any shipping, copying cast, etc.

LATE FEES & INTEREST:

If for any reason payment is not made a $100 late fee will apply. If payment is not made within 30 days of the event, a monthly fee of $100 or 10% of your total bill (which ever is greater) shall apply until balance is paid in full. In addition, you are responsible for any and all collection fees, court fees and labor fees related to the collection of this payment.

CANCELLATIONS:

There are no refunds. If you cancel your event for any reason you will forfeit any down payment. In case of declared Natural Disasters (excluding COVID-19), you will receive store credit and have and an opportunity to reschedule your event within 12 months.
